The Great Prayer Project – End Abortion

A pro-life prayer movement launched on March 25, 2010 has seen great growth. To date, over 250 individuals from varies countries have signed up to take part in this prayer for an end to abortion. The prayer is set up so individuals can pick an open 20-minute time slot and pray during that time. It is schedule to run just one year and need all pro-life prayers to join in this prayer.

You may ask why this pro-life prayer movement is different from any other prayer campaign than you have seen before. The answer is simple. The Great Prayer Project, the official name of this pro-life prayer movement is a continuous prayer praying for an end to abortion. Being a prayer that does not end for an entire year and unite people from around the world has the ability to have a huge impact on the abortion rate. How you may ask, well in Matthew 20:16, Jesus tells us “Again, (amen,) I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.” Image the effect a prayer movement that unites people around the world in a single prayer for an end to abortion.
